Michuki Technical Training Institute (MTTI) is committed to provide quality Technical, Industrial, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training in a conducive environment, using appropriate technology to empower her trainees for individual development and global competitiveness. We endeavor to be the leading Technical Institute in Kenya and beyond.
In pursuit of this commitment, MTTI shall endeavour to meet applicable statutory, contractual and regulatory requirements and, continually monitor and annually review the set quality objectives, context, needs and expectations of interested parties, risks and opportunities in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 standard.
POLICY 1B: INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY
Michuki Technical Training Institute exists to provide Technical Vocational Education & training programmes to empower graduates for individual development and global competitiveness. In executing this mandate, MTTI commits to secure its information by preserving Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the information assets in executing the day-to-day training and support processes as security of information asset is fundamental for the successful operation of the Institute.
The Institute has adopted, aligned and committed to ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 requirements, applicable statutory & regulatory requirements and shall continually improve the information security management system to effectively protect information and its customers from information security threats, whether internal or external.
MTTI is committed to the attainment of the following information security objectives:
ü Preservation of confidentiality of information asset through provision of secure storage and transmission infrastructure
ü Maintain the integrity of the information assets through monitored information access and modification control levels
ü Provision of proper dissemination and backup of information to ensure its availability to authorized users when and as required
ü Ensure all information created, processed, stored or transmitted internally and / or externally is authentic
ü Ensure information asset at the Institute is valuable and meets the needs of the intended user(s)
