KeHNA SCHOLARSHIPS (Call for Applications)

Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) Project has partnered with Michuki Technical Training Institute and is inviting applications for scholarships in the following courses:

  1. Hair Dressing and Beauty Therapy
  2. Electrical Wireman
  3. Masonry
  4. Plumbing / Pipe Fitter

Eligibility Criteria: Applications MUST meet the following criteria:

  1. Aged between 18 and 35 years old with no formal training at Diploma level or above;
  2. Persons who are able to read and write with KCSE or KCPE Certificates;
  3. Should be a resident of Nyeri, Kirinyaga or Murang’a

Preference will be given to:

  1. Youth who are orphaned and/or those from single parenthood families;
  2. Young single mothers who meet the qualifications;
  3. Persons living with disability

Application Forms can be downloaded from the KENHA website ( or collected between Mon – Fri from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at either:

  1. Michuki Technical Training Institute.
  2. KeNHA Nyeri Regional Office
    1. Kirinyaga County Commissioner’s office
    2. Murang’a County Commissioner’s office

The dully filled forms MUST be stamped by the Area Chief or Assistant County Commissioner as a verification of the residency status of the applicant.

And returned to Michuki Technical Training Institute by 5:00 p.m. on 2nd November 2020 or dropped at the following offices by Tuesday 3rd November 2020 at 5:00 pm.

  2. KeNHA Nyeri Regional Offices in Nyeri (located at Ministry of Works Building)
  3. The Kirinyaga County Commissioner’s office
